Band practice 9/12

Might have to cut short a little...hannah and i might do something...it's not set in stone yet, but just be prepared for a short or non-existant band practice, though its still on for sunday at three o'clock

Thrashed by the belt recording

i am just about to go down into my basement and finish recording thrashed by the belt. i don't really feel like figuring out your time signatures, so you can just wait until you have the aiff to figure it out yourself.

I finally found catalyst!

after hours of intense searching, i finally found them! the epic band we witnessed at bill's blues bar! they even have the video that was taken by a guy that we were standing right behind.

No Band practice on thursday, and maybe friday

despite what i said to two of you, there will not be band practice tomorrow as i broke the news today taht i am failing biology...i begged and pleaded enough for him to consider friday to stay, but i'll keep you guys posted

EDIT: We will not be recording tomorrow according to Brandon...We will just be listening and if we want later, we can use the 1 track that nick has to fuck around with protools. -AJ

Despite the fact that he writes like three songs a week, Nick thinks we should do some more covers. If we are, or if we aren't, we should know what we're going to be practicing after we finishing recording on Friday.

The Cottage Trip Follow-up

okay, first of all, the cottage trip was awesome. we gotta do that again sometime.

also, my parents noticed that none of you said "thank you" to them for allowing you to disrupt the peacful demeanor that is michigan by driving you up to the cottage and giving you free food. so comment on the post cause my mom wants to see it

for an informative purpose

1. Since the cottage trip lasts all weekend, I'll end up getting my guitar the following weekend
2. I may be wet when I show up at Nick's. I would have just ran 3 miles and would have taken a shower, so if I drip on you, live with it.
3.I call a couch to sleep on when we get to the cottage. CALLED IT.
4. It may be a month away, but I'm not going to be able to practice on Tuesday September 30th(I'm bringing it up because its a jew holiday so no school). It's Beesy and I's 6th Month Aniversary and I'm fairly sure she won't want to spend it kicking me in the shins for dethgrowling.

Current cottage trip details

okay, heres a list of basic details that you will probably want to know so that you can tell your parents when you ask

we are leaving at 7:00 PM on friday from my house. try to get there around 6:30. we are NOT picking ANYONE up from their houses.

we will arrive back home on monday at roughly 4-5 o'clock. we'll probably do it like a boy scout thing where we drop you off at your house with your crap.

there will be two cars:

1 - a pacifica

it will hold my dad, my sister, gus, and THREE of you. you will watch a movie in this car so that you don't bother my dad or my sister. this car will hold a miniscule amount of luggage. or you could hold stuff in your laps.

2 - an old minivan, i don't know exactly what it is (the car we're borrowing from my grandparents)

it will hold me, my mom, and FIVE of you guys. in this car we'll just talk and stuff. no swearing or anything inappropriate, though because my mom will be able to hear everything you say. this car will also be able to hold a good amount of luggage. i think... i don't exactly remember the specs of it.

so, if you want, you can call dibs on what car you want to be in on the blog, otherwise, you'll have to fight it out in my driveway.

there WILL be other people you don't know there.

you must be GRACIOUS GUESTS, otherwise you will be kicked out

there will be a band playing on the beach on labor day. i don't know who they are or what music they will be playing.

bring money so that you can buy stuff. my parents aren't paying for anything. EX: movie tickets, candy, beverages, etc...

... uh i dunno, i'll think of other stuff to tell you later. i'll post it up soon.
